Bridges
Railcars
Company

You have found the official web site for Paragon Railcar Salvage and Paragon Bridge works!  Paragon Railcar takes good, useable railroad cars and strips them down into a bridge structure.  Paragon Bridge Works continues this process by repainting, re-decking, applying handrails, and re-certifying these bridge structures all over the US.  Thus, our bridge company manufacturers, or re-manufacturers, bridges for a wide variety of applications.  This site should give you a plethora of information about railroad equipment and the varied applications that we convert them into.

We are proud to be environmentally sensitive!

New...

Paragon is now able to provide 3D models of certain railcar/bridge styles!  This is just another fine example of the level of service and dedication Paragon has put into bringing this concept to the forefront of modern engineering.  The following are 2D screen shots of our 3D models.

.

40' X 8' X 2' unit

This is a model of some units that were purchased from us a long time ago. The property had been sold and the new owners asked us to engineer it for them. We flew out there, measured, modeled and engineered this bridge for an HS20 loading...stamped by a TX licensed PE. This is an exported 2D picture of the 3D model.
