History

Paragon Railcar Salvage was started in January of 2000 with Noah Figueroa as its managing partner.  There is no better example of the American dream than Noah's hard work and dedication!  He started in the railroad industry cleaning railroad tank cars in the extreme heat of California's central valley.  He then was promoted to repairing all sorts of railroad cars, such as tanks (general purpose DOT 111A100W1 and LPG's DOT 112J340W), autoracks, hoppers, gondolas, box cars, intermodal, flat cars, and cabooses (no passenger cars or locomotives).  Then promoted again to inspections and finishing off as the quality assurance administrator for a large railroad repair facility in Colorado.  His responsibilities included overseeing the inspection and cleaning/repair process for all railcars, coming up with ways to do things better, faster, and more cost effective, and consulting major corporations in regards to their railcars' useful life expectancy and expected repair/maintenance costs.  After some time he felt he needed more of a challenge so he started his own company...Paragon Railcar Salvage.  By the way, his former employer became a good client which speaks volumes to his respect and honesty.  The primary business line was professional consulting and dismantling of various railroad cars.

Skip forward a few years and imagine a seasoned railroad inspector talking to a professional bridge engineer.  The concept of converting railroad flat cars into bridges is nothing new but the advancement of this concept had been stagnant for many decades.  Everything was questioned: What condition are the railcars?  How strong are they?  How can we prove it?  How can we build a bridge better, faster, and more cost effective?  How can we duplicate this process from coast to coast?  How can we make these bridges more attractive?

After several months of testing, designing, and re-testing a new company was forged...Paragon Bridge Works!  Paragon now has the capability to supply clients this concept just about anywhere in the US!  Railcars are stored in various locations throughout the US for quick delivery.  Professional engineers licensed in a plethora of states!

Paragon encourages its employees to have a good relationship with their higher power, family, and community.  Paragon only employs legal citizens with good, positive attitudes.  We are proud participants of our Home Land Securities' Basic Pilot Program to verify US citizenship.

Paragon's Managing Partner, Noah Figueroa, is very active in his community.  Where you spend your time and money is a good indicator of where your heart is at.  This is a quick snap shot of where his heart is at:

A note from the Managing Partner, Noah Figueroa:
