These are by far Paragon's most popular type of abutments. Clients love the price and availability. Our price usually includes delivery right to your job site. If we can deliver a bridge structure to your job site then we can certainly deliver these blocks right to you.

Paragon's pre-cast concrete abutments are the ideal solution for many reasons:

Cost effective: Usually can be delivered for a lot less than having a concrete truck pour in place. No concrete crew needed to form and pour.
Time effective: We have these in stock, ready to be delivered. And, since they are poured in doors, the outdoor elements are not a factor. No need to worry about freezing or raining.
Easy to install: You can do it yourself, all you need is a backhoe.

Estimate
This concept is still new so there is not a lot of history to reference. We have been testing and changing and testing this concept for over a year so we are confident it will work for almost all projects.

For a typical 40' long, 8' wide bridge structure you can estimate three blocks on each bank for a total of six blocks...at the very minimum.
For a typical 40' long, 16' wide bridge structure you can estimate five blocks on each bank for a total of ten blocks...at the very minimum.

We have a vast network of distribution points that makes delivery a breeze. From coast to coast and everywhere in between, we can deliver for far less than you think. Our NETWORK page is a good starting point to determine if we can supply you with our pre-cast concrete. If we can supply you the bridge, we can certainly supply you these blocks!

Bottom Line
Don't get lost in the details...you can have complete abutments for your bridge for as little as $1200 (based on 6 blocks sold in Colorado). We encourage you to call around, see what concrete crews are charging...even if you plan on doing your own concrete work, call around and see what concrete alone will cost.
